  1. Heart-mark! From memory, the original print on which he based the plum tree drawing is very near where my husband grew up. Another reason why Japan is crazy about him.

    A small small world :-)
    The influence of Japan art on western painting was so strong that we speak of Japonism.
    And maybe some influence was mutual too !
